This leather is from Badalassi Carlo Tannery. Best known for their work with vegetable tanned leathers for over 40 years, Badalassi Carlo is a member of the Consorzio Vera Pella Italian and is considered a premium tannery located in the province of Pisa. 

The classic wide 3/4' is ideal for wrapping around the arm easily without sacrificing comfort, for a more minimal look and feel. Because of the width and thickness, a neck pad is not needed.  They can help distribute weight without the use of a neck pad on lighter to medium sized cameras.

The length measurement is taken from the center of each keyring. Select the length you want from the drop down menu. Custom sizes can be made as well. Please email info@tapanddye.com to inquire.

  • Badalassi "Minerva Liscio" (Smooth)
  • Each leather camera strap is made from Full Grain leather with a soft temper
  • Each strap can be stitched with your choice of Black, Red or Natural thread
  • Strap thickness is 5 oz and width is 3/4"

    7 Year Customer: Craftsmanship Amazing as Always

    Justin’s work is worth the wait. It all started with a longer classic strap for my X100F back in 2018 and then a wrist strap. Most recently, the olive color and the need for a shorter strap for my X100VI called to me, and the craftsmanship (and packaging!!) Is better than ever. I am grateful to be able to find and remain connected to Justin’s work and think it to be an intrinsic part of my relationship with photography and hope his straps and products are always available to me. Thank you for good work and good products and for the ways that you’re available to your customers and their needs!

    FYI: My Brown Leather Original Strap is still going and the patina is amazing! It's on my XT4 now. The wrist strap on my film camera.
