Usually I just use the standard, stock strap that comes with my camera purchase at the time. You know the basic black web type, weaved into those crazy, hard to open key rings or even worse those triangle shaped ones. Once you put one of those straps on you really don't want to deal with taking it off, just to have to put it back on again later.
But with my latest camera, I decided it was time to invest in a more substantial type of strap that was worthy of the investment I made. Having bought a wrist strap from Tap & Dye several years back, I decided to see what was available. Seeing the Legacy Classic Wide strap with the Peak anchors really caught my attention. I've always thought the anchors were an interesting setup, but wasn't really a fan of the straps themselves. So seeing how T&D incorporated them into a hand made strap, I was hooked. Now I have a beautiful strap on my camera when I need it, but have the ability to remove it when necessary. And not only is it beautiful, but it is also so well made. The leather is already so soft to the touch, I can only imagine how it will feel after a few months of use. The hardest part was deciding on the length and the stitching color. I finally ended up with it all in black to match the camera's appearance.
Anyway, you know you want one. Just get it. Don't wait any longer.
